The Watcher
The Watcher is a new play by Jeremy Paul.
A  park scene where a woman is sitting alone in the park enjoying the sunshine and a picnic. She is approached by a weird guy, Is she in trouble? is she who she claims to be? Is he? And these are just a few of the questions posed by this gripping psychological thriller.
Katie McEwen is superb as Sonia and Jon Martin-Shaw plays Kevin and this extremely well written play is excellently directed by Roger Martin.
There are more layers to this play than a towerblock, some more obvious than others, but the whole combination adds up to an excellent 75 minutes of nee theatre.
I can really recommend this play, and hopefully it will soon be getting the size of audiences it deserves.
