 Two
by Jim Cartwright was originally written for John McArdle and Sue
Johnston following their exit from soap opera Brookside.
Set
in a Northern pub, we meet a whole lot, 14 in fact, dysfunctional characters, none more so than Mine Hosts. All the male characters
are played by Daniel Ewing, the female ones by Rinalisa Halmey.
Although
the play is over fifteen years old, it doesn't feel dated and is a
good vehicle to display the actors versatility with all the
characters they portray. Both performers were well up to the task,
and the only thing wrong was there were not a busier audience, and
that is something you could fix.
