The set is a rundown living room on New Years Eve . A seen better days sofa, a carpet with a big burn in it newspapers strewn around and two actors playing the roles of Pat and Susan who are obviously having issues with each other as the tension is palpable. Then enters Max, a well dressed chap who seems to be at least part of the problem.

As the story unfolds there seem to be more questions than answers available. They actors give excellent performances, unfortunately I have not managed to obtain a cast list so I cannot give you their names, and the storyline keeps the mystery going throughout.

The one lighter moment was when the three play the drinking game ‘I have never’ otherwise it was tension throughout the entire performance, running time around 50 minutes.

This is an interesting play and as already said had creditable performances from the cast. But I’m afraid overall it didn’t quite do it for me.
