Little Johnny’s Big Gay Musical

***
Totally promising title but sadly not quite the 'Big Gay Success' I was expecting.
Johnny McKnight from Ardrossan, a small Scottish town on the West Coast takes us through his life by the use of tunes from the musicals. Not one of which stayed in my mind any longer than its actual performance.
He has an excellent idea but I feel it needs a lot of work. The band, however are superb and his co- performer and chanteuse Natalie Toune has a good stage presence and lovely voice.  The writer of the piece and main performer Johnny McKnight has reasonable skills but did not impress me as much as I had hoped he would.
I have no doubt it will get a cult following and it is not a bad evenings entertainment but left me wanting more more more!
