With
the modern almost obsession of social networking sites I suppose that it
is inevitable that a number of productions are being staged this Fringe.
This
one is pretty well done, there are only three actors playing the roles,
all dancing to the tune of posh Isabel Reece Morgan, who unhappy due to
her relationship break-up with William sets up a dummy Facebook page
trying to catch out her ex’s ‘bit on the side.
Two
women, glamour model Keeley Cooper, and former school friend of
William’s and plain, delusional Fiona Sealey, who once spoke to him on
the phone, get drawn in by Isobel’s ruse, but where will it end?
The
plot has plenty of pace and the three actors, albeit playing somewhat
stereotypical characters, did so well. Technically, the show worked fine,
the script had a nice twist but why wasn’t blown away?
I’m afraid I can’t explain why, but I just wasn’t. It was
however a lot better than many things I have seen this Fringe.
