Thora
Linchentongue (Emily North) seems to have it all, a TV show, a
loving partner, a dependable assistant and even a stalker. Then
along came Barang Lal (Krupa Pattani) and her mind reading computer.
Suddenly Lichentongue’s deepest darkest secrets are out and her
life began to fall apart, just because her family name is
‘Hitler’! Barang Lal takes over her TV show, partner and life
but not her stalker.
This
strange play is also worrying as computers are advancing day by day.
The technical side of the show was also interesting. Despite the
good performances from, Emily North, Rebecca Dunn, Krupa Pattani,
Alisa llott and Hetty Abbott with the voices of Robin Dunn, Sara
Templeman and William Vasey, I found it less than absorbing. The
final twist was the most fascinating part of the play.
