Yes there are three people on stage but
this is no ménage a trios. The three parts of love refer to falling
in love, finding things that irritate, then missing them, and this
is the basics of the story of the unlikely romance between Claire,
an office worker and Paul a temp who works with her.
Paul having OCD and Claire communicating by
leaving notes around his exact flat does not assist the couple’s
romance. The story is told both in real time and in flash back and
both actors play their roles well.
The third person on stage is a musician who
plays a live soundtrack of really pleasant music which adds to the
production, but I just don’t know how but this play did not
capture my imagination at all.
