This
interesting piece of theatre, performed by hi-5 Theatre Company, written and directed by Stephanie Smith, is an amalgam of theatre and
film with some of the action being staged and projected at the same
time.
The
action also goes backwards and forwards in time also, so one does really
need to concentrate at all times.
Rachel, Fiona Mitchell, fights with her father
, Michael, Tim Yarrow, and leaves home. Michael’s workmate Dave,
Robert Stewart has a thing for prostitutes, especially Lillian, Lisa
Martin, but his feelings are not returned.
With
clever writing and direction events turn violent and sinister with a few
unexpected turns along the way, culminating in a tragic finale.
An
interesting play for the afternoon.
