Flamenco,  Flamenco!

It is some time since I last saw Ricardo Garcia's Flamenco Flow and thought it about time to reacquaint myself with his performance.
Appearing in a space, which seems more intimate than the last one, the dance floor seemed tiny in comparison with the previous one ,but as it turns out this was not an issue as this particular production concentrates on the music rather than the dance. In Flamenco the music is an integral part of, and as important as, the dance. It was as lovely to be able to just sit back and enjoy the superb music flowing over me and round the room with the occasional intricately executed dance. One of the things I find totally fascinating yet almost impossible to comprehend is the hand claps. They seem to be of numerous different styles, sounds and speeds. On my list of things to do before I die is learn to do a Flamenco perhaps one Fringe I'll try it out instead of just watching.
