Ok people might think me sad to be so delighted to see Donny Osmond performing live in front of Edinburgh Castle. 

Growing up with the Osmond family legend it was like a dream come true to see the brothers at the Royal Variety performance at the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh, little did I know that not only would I get to see Merill but also Donny live. Both concerts were fantastic but Donny was particularly special.

He sang a mixture of the old Osmond hits, numbers from musicals and some new material including his great new single 'breeze on by' (yes I'm biased). Yet probably the best part will be being able to bore everyone by playing the proposed DVD "donny live at edinburgh castle" due out in November with the launch of his new album "what i meant to say".  Perhaps people will see me in the audience and Geoff will see what I've been going on about since the concert.  The hundreds of fans in the audience had an amazing time and we couldn't quite believe it was all over.

It has taken all this time for me to see The Osmond's live and I look forward to getting the chance to do it over and over again.
