Twelve
students from RSAMD studying for there Masters of Performance in
Musical theatre join together to present three of the six winners
of the 'Global Search for New Musicals' at the Edinburgh Fringe
Festival. 'Once Upon a Time In New Jersey', 'Far From the Madding
Crowd' and 'The Frog Prince'.
Philipa Briggs, H. R. Bradford, Neil Campbell, Morgan
Carberry, Kate Chapman, Aiden Currie, Jenna Dykes, Lisa Jane, Anna
Mateo, Andrew Short, Steven Struthers and Natalie Toyne, are
Joined by Thomas Hart from the class of 2004. Not all students
appear in all three productions.
The
Frog Prince is based loosely on the fairy tale of the same name.
We see princes, princesses, kings, queens, a frog and a chorus of
Tao Masters, mystic beings who narrate the story and direct the
characters to a successful conclusion bringing the perfect yin
and yang together uniting the universe and bringing happiness.
As you would expect from the RSAMD this
is a very polished production previewing potential perfect
paragons of performance.
