Tango Fire
Tango Fire direct from Buenos Aires, this Argentinean tango show makes its UK debut!  The four musicians La Quartada, play several numbers on there own, every second or third number they are joined by four dancers.
The leaflets promise to take us on a journey through the history of the tango from its early days in the 20th century in brothels and taverns to the San Thelmo district in B. A. where the artform thrives today.
La Quartada consist of a keyboard, double base, violin and accordion, all skilfully played by four extremely charismatic aesthetically pleasing young men. The dancers two male and two female seem to merge and blend as one at times, at other times their individualities become apparent.
This is an exciting show well worth seeing by both musical aficionados as well as dance fans.
