I
am always on the lookout for more experience in various forms of music,
with this in mind I went to see 'Patti Plinko and Her Boy'.
We
walk in to what could be described as a gypsy camp with a large painting
of the Madonna surrounded by photographs. A woman lies prostrate in front
of the image. A female violinist and male guitarist start to make music.
So
far fine the music was lovely but when Patti started to sing I couldn’t
decide whether she was singing gobbledygook or in another language. The
music superb if a little strange, the lyrics unintelligible, murderous or
suicidal.
This
show is an experience, definitely an experience.
