The Magnets - Gobsmacked!

The Magnets are taking a cappella
music to a whole, new dynamic level. I would defy anybody who sees a
Magnets show not to get caught up in the excitement as they perform a
bunch of toe tapping songs.
Their appeal works in many ways.
They can take well known songs and give them a fresh treatment. Their
harmonies and rhythms are really, really tight as is their choreography to
give the complete polished, performance. All achieved with good humour and
audience rapport.
Every item in the show is a
highlight. They choose songs from artists such as Michael Jackson, David
Bowie, The Scissor Sisters, Franz Ferdinand and many more. Into this mix
they do a spectacular, rapid fire A-Z of bands and an incredible mouth
drum solo.
The term ‘unmissable’ is bandied around in show descriptions and fliers. This show is one of the few that lives up to the description. The Magnets are an act that is right at the top of its game.
