Imagine
sitting on your couch in your sitting room watching a soap opera
for which you have decided on the main ingredients for the
evening. Add five talented performers with slightly warped minds
and you get 'The Soap Kitchen'.
The
show changes everyday and depends on audience suggestions as well
as the quick thinking of the cast.
The
day the elephant cried was our title, cleverly adapted into a tale
of corruption, misguided ambitions, the search for personal
advancement and a successful relationship.
Our
very small audience had an extremely silly hour enjoying ourselves
and giggling uncontrollably at the antics unfolding before us.
The
five cast members were; Ruth Bratt, Gareth Kane, Alex Norris,
Lloyd Stephens and Rachel Woollett.
The
only thing lacking in this production are the audiences to boost
the company to bigger and better things.
