Phil Nichol
It was only a couple of years ago that Phil Nichol was a Perrier nominee, and now he is playing a small room in a late night slot.
The location may have changed from the slightly more glamorous Pleasance, but what has not changed is the man's talent and total commitment to his audience.
This London based Canadian not only is a mega comedian, he plays a mean guitar too, and w are treated to this on entering his space.
The show title Nearly Gay is basically in response to being called homophobic by a gay comedian some years ago, and he leads us through a few episode of his life, that reinforce the point that he is not only not as he was accused, but is almost gay.
I will not attempt to tell you any of his show, I couldn't get even close to doing it justice, all I will say is get your ticket today, is show is very popular and you would not want to be the one to miss out.
