Fred
McAuley is somewhat of a Scottish Institution. He is multi
talented, being a stand up, a TV presenter and hosts a daily radio
show on BBC Radio Scotland.
I
first saw him at the Fringe I suppose 12 years ago, so I suppose
that dates us both!! but after a year or twos absence Fred is back
doing the whole run at the Assembly Rooms.
McAuley is a very Scottish comedian, the
majority of the audience I was part of were Scottish, but he also
does appeal to other nationalities too.
His
set is funny, topical and tight, majoring on Scotland and Scottish
issues and traits, he has his audience in the palm of his hand
from his first entrance, and never looses them, so obviously his
sojourn into other activities has not blunted his comedy
abilities.
His
show is doing great business, so get your ticket now, and don't be
the one to miss out.
