A British Guide to French Pop is the
somewhat unusual title of a show, but what is really unusual in
respect to the Fringe?
Presented by self confessed Francophile
Toby Mitchell, ably assisted, but occasionally that is hardly the
word, by Morag Cross, we the audience are gently and lovingly led
through the pop culture of Gainsbourg, Johnny Halliday, Paradis
and Jarre with a collection of sounds and memories from Messier
Mitchell and Mademoiselle Cross.
The show has the laid back feel of
friends having a get together with a glass of wine, and even the
sing along finale was not too threatening.
