Those
Men in beige are back, although in truth only Ronnie Golden is in
beige, Barry Cryer in darker colours, but in spite of advancing
age they still are a big draw and who can argue with this as the
'boys' can still rock it with the best of them as their opening
number testified.
The
shows follows their own trusted route, comic songs, funny stories
and of course their theme Little Richard III, any excuse to play
and occasionally parody the rock 'n ' roller.
Mr.
Cryer does most of the gags, and sings with Mr Golden, who gets
plenty of chances to show off his guitar skills, and boy he has
plenty of those.
All in all a very enjoyable hour that had
the audience still looking for more even after their encore that
never really was, as they decided not to leave the stage, because
they'd jut have to come back on again. Maybe age is starting to
take its toll !!
