 Amused
Moose Comedy Starlets. This is the second year I have attended
such a show and must confess that I was previously unaware that
the Am organization ran comedy clubs mainly in London.
What
I was aware of was that it gave a number of emerging comedy
talents a chance to perform during the Fringe, a chance they may
not have got otherwise. Last years selection was good, this years
even better.
The
show I saw, although the lineup changes daily, was compered by
Kate Smurthwaite and featured Rob Broderick, Natasha Donovan, Lee
Brace, Patrick Hyland and Wendy Wason. All performers made good
use of their ten minutes and obviously had some good and
occasionally excellent material.
Unfortunately
the audience was rather small in number, but you could change
that. Take a chance and go along, you never know the next big
thing for the comedy circuit could be lurking amongst the thirty
four, yes,34 comedians that are part of this package.
