Fordy's Lock-In

*****

Fordy’s Lock-In is another late night show vying for your attention.  With so many to choose from, what can this one offer that’s different?  Well, instead of comedians performing sections of their longer acts, Fordy’s guests join him for a laid-back, late night chat.  The format is loose and the drinks are flowing, which leads to some interesting, and controversial, anecdotes.
Joining Fordy on this particular night were John Robbins, Dan Atkinson and Rob Rouse.  Watching them banter back and forth was almost like joining your mates down the pub, except that suddenly your mates are ten times funnier and seem to know much more about Nottingham Forest.
This is a show which exemplifies the unique opportunities that the Fringe offers.  A show like this would be hard to see anywhere else.  It offers up a format which can showcase the talents of comedians who are at the top of their game and who are allowed to be as uninhibited as they like.  I thoroughly enjoyed myself and, had I the time, money and a more forgiving body clock, I’d become a regular at this particular lock-in.
