Now in his early thirties, Colm O’Regan evaluates his life from adolescence to his present situation. His manner is easy going and the delivery keeps the audience chuckling throughout.

His material is very personal, beginning with his asymmetrical appearance. He remembers as an innocent teenager how secret reading of Mills & Boon books engendered ideas of that first kiss. He is now taken with the bizarre idea of writing a Mills & Boon type book with the lead male being an anti sex symbol.  

Nowadays, his greatest concerns are related to the recession and its consequences. In such an examination of his progress thus far, family life is an expected topic. Subjects as diverse as Sat Nav’s and the uncomfortable attitudes in Ireland to the gay community are featured.

A pleasant hour with a comedian whose observational wit is on the dry side.
