It must be over 25 years since I saw the Chippendales, firstly in London then on tour in Scotland. So it was with some interest I joined a huge queue of females of all ages with a few bemused males and one or two gay men. Attempting to stay well to the back hoping to end up in the balcony out of harms way I ended up in the second back row, still almost in the firing line of a flying sweaty vest which was snatched out of the air by the woman directly in front of me.

Admittedly this is a very great show and the Chippendales dance and gyrate their way throughout the evening, they also have a male singer who has a very good voice. One thing I did notice is that all the strippers dance, in the past there was a distinct line between the dancers and the strippers. The dancers moved around whilst the strippers removed their clothes. The outright sexual predatory sections are fewer whilst the dance routines have increased.

I enjoyed the show but obviously not as much as 90% of the audience. It is definitely worth seeing but like the furniture at this age I'm not quite so comfortable sitting there.

For me personally it is a four star show but thanks to the audience it gets 5.
