Sally-Anne Hayward - Cyril 

Story-telling is her style and her show is loosely based around the wooing of ugly Janet by Cyril one of life’s misfits, who, at the age of 47, has never had a girlfriend and still lives with his mum. The story is set somewhere in an imaginary village deep in rural England.

By way leading into the story she ranges through some of the eccentricities of village life and their inhabitants. As she tells her story, she wanders off into digressions about her own life. Her humour works best when she banters in a gentle way with the audience.

Occasionally she doesn’t quite time punch lines but she has a warm personality and her humour is amusing.
