I have been pondering what to write about
this for more than 24 hours now, trying to find the words to
describe experience, created by Christopher Green, Ursula Martinez
and director Cal McCrystal and that is the only word I can find that
even comes close to it.
The concept in case you have been on
another planet for the last few weeks is that all of the crowd are
employees turning up for the works annual party, where our
management have laid on entertainment , party games and a spot of
teambuilding thrown in as well.
On arrival you report to your team manager
and the departmental bonding session commences, washed down with a
tipple.
Then it’s back to the main hall where
following a brief pep talk from the CEO and the dancing, cabaret,
and party games commenced. This is quite an interactive experience
and it’s amazing that in a short time you found yourself cheering
on your team like they had been friends for ever.
Some of the names of those appearing as
team leaders include Glenn Wool, Richard Thomson, Clare Plested and
Janice Connelly together with Ursula Martinez and Tina C as part the
cabaret.
This is a brilliant concept for a show, I
went by myself and had a rip-roaringly good time, however my
suggestion would be get a bunch of mates and go along as a group and
I’m sure it would be even better.
