Simple premise Lloyd Woolf is trying to
decide what to do for his Edinburgh Fringe Festival show 2008. Idea
after idea goes through his head, he works on them for some time then
abandons them. From
sketch shows, through character stories, through fact and research
based ideas and game shows but nothing seemed to go very far before
he either got bored or got totally fixated with an idea and ground to a halt.
Finally the idea struck him, just go
through the top ten ideas he started and work on weaving them
together to produce one hours material and the title obvious
‘Lloyd Woolf ten shows I abandoned’. One of the most imaginative
ideas I have seen from a young comedian who is new to me but who I
will be looking out for in the future.
This lad has bags of talent and is very
personable his comedy at the moment is very gentle and almost naive but also very pleasurable.
