It has been a couple of years since Jeff
Green has graced the Fringe and it was good to see him back at the
Assembly Rooms and a lot has gone on in his life since his last
Edinburgh appearances.
Green has eventually got married, had kids
and is now the proud owner of a caravan.
All subjects of course that have mileage by
the score for material from this genial gentleman.
Jeff has further scope with how aging has
changed his outlook on life and his observations are shared with the
enthralled audience who seem to empathise with much of his stuff.
Green is not an in-your-face comedian like
many others, he just gets on with his job, that of entertaining his fans
and doing it his way.
His audience are of all ages but probably
slightly more mature than some of this peers, this of course could
be due to numerous TV appearances, but what ever drew them into the
venue, I’m sure all left feeling it was money well spent.
