Rob Deering – Charmageddon

Rob Deering is a very clever comedian in more ways than one. This year he managed to win the comedians special on The Weakest Link getting everyone of his questions right in the process.

He is also clever in his humour and very self depreciating at times, commenting about weight gain which seemed to dominate one recent review.

As well as being a very funny comedian Deering is also no mean guitar player. A fair amount of his act is spent playing his trusty axe and together with his loop machine creates a live version of a few popular, and some annoying songs.

Stories involved warm up gigs in Hull and Kent, Harry Potter, Rolling Stones, Goths, drinking culture James Blunt and probably his best story about a hamster.

And then there is the finale as audience members are invited to join Mr Deering in his version of the Lynyrd Skynyrd classic Freebird. They do , he’s gone leaving his live looping playing and the fans wanting more.
