The Wilson Dixon Hour

Wilson Dixon was born in 1969 in Cripple Creek, Colorado, the middle of the country, which is why he got into country music at the age of 12 when he got his first guitar. As he says had he lived in the city it might have been city music, the suburbs, suburban music etc.
To date he has been on the Country circuit for about twelve years, his sixth album, released on his own record label Phoo-wee Records is called “Soft Hands” his first album being “Wilson Dixon’s Greatest Hits”, his second “Introducing Wilson Dixon”
His unique style is derived from inbreeding, or should that be possible inbreeding, his absolutely stimulating up bringing and his bad hair days, or was it a wig?  He lives beside a local shop on the rocky sides of the mountain where they sell carbon-fibre rocks modeled on those around them. Is it any wonder his music and sense of humour is as it is.
This is a weird, wacky way to spend an hour, I can only describe it with references to that moment in ‘Deliverance’ where they play “Duelling Banjos” which is both fascinating and horrific but this time with comedy.
