The Runaway Lovers

This show consists of a bright and breezy collection of sketches all drawn from contemporary life and is performed by a cast of 4 guys and 1 girl. Some sketches worked better than others. The drama queen character who appeared in various guises was a highlight, as was the pub scene between 2 guys in which one of the guys takes on the role of the about to be dumped girlfriend.

Even if the quality of the material was uneven all the cast performed convincingly. The final sketch, depicting a bizarre and hilarious police identity parade, was a strong ending.

Good entertainment, ably performed in a very cramped space.
